Report: Madonna Shoots MTV VMA Promo In Times Square

Looks like Madonna may be taking part in this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. TMZ posted footage of a secret video shoot Madonna took part in, which is allegedly a promo for the upcoming awards ceremony. 

The video was shot in New York’s Times Square, with Madonna arriving at around 3 am, sporting a blonde wig, and beige trench coat. The clip has her walking by a taxi cab that looks like it’s straight out of the eighties. 

The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards will air September 12^th at 8 pm live from the Barclay’s Center in New York. So far there’s no official word on whether Madonna will be on the show, or even perform. Check out footage of Madonna’s shoot here.
