Ringo Starr Releasing Coffee Table Book For Charity

The perfect Valentine's Day gift? Maybe if your boo is a Beatles fan! Ringo Starr is releasing a new hardcover coffee table book on February 14, 2022. The book is called "Lifted - Fab Images and Memories in My Life With the Beatles From Across the Universe. Proceeds from the book will benefit the "Lotus Foundation" charity which helps charitable projects that advance social welfare. The book will only be available for purchase at "Julien's Auctions."

In a statement, Ringo stressed “I am not writing this book as a Beatle historian. I’m writing this book as a Beatle — and there’s only a couple of us who can do that.” He also shared that the book came about as the images came back to him in the past few years from both online and offline. He shares that the images "have somehow helped me get back to seeing my life with the Fab Four through fresh eyes.. In recent years, I’d gather these Beatles photos that I sometimes barely remembered.”

And that's why the book is called "Lifted." "The Beatles changed my life forever," Ringo shares, "so it’s about getting back and giving back.” He got the idea to combine these photos with some of his personal favorite photos and put them in a book, along with his own words, which he says are “my true tales that they inspire about what the four of us — John, Paul, George and Ringo — went through back in the day.” Ringo also calls it "a book full of Beatles images that many people haven't seen"
