Don’t hold your breath for a box set or tour for The Who’s 1971 album “Who’s Next.” Roger Daltrey doesn’t see the point in celebrating the record’s 50th anniversary.

Speaking to “Rolling Stone,” Daltrey says “Who’s Next” should just be “left as a great album.” If fans want to honor half a century since its release, he recommends they “play the record and get stoned or whatever and have a good time,” saying they don’t “need us to do that.”

“I don’t really know. That’s record company business. They own the catalog.” He adds about a potential reissue. “I feel like a painter who’s finished a painting. I never want to see the bloody thing again! I’m sorry, but you’ve got to let this stuff go.”
