Spice Girls are celebrating their 25th anniversary of their debut single “Wannabe” with a new EP and a new “#IAmASpiceGirl” campaign.
The group will release “Wannabe25” digitally on July 9th, with a vinyl and cassette version dropping July 23rd. The release will include the original single, as well as remix by Junior Vasquez, the original demo, and “Feed Your Love,” a demo of an unreleased ballad.
The group shares, “The Spice Girls belong to everyone and that’s why we want to mark 25 years of ‘Wannabe’ by celebrating our incredible fans.”
- As for the campaign, the Spice Girls want fans to share their favorite stories and memories to be used on the band website and social media sites. They are asking fans to share their stories, videos and messages using the hashtag #IAMASPICEGIRL or send to [email protected].
