As we told you, Ronald Isley & The Isley Brothers and Beyoncé have teamed for a new song “Make Me Say It Again, Girl,” which is out now.

Ronald tells “Billboard” that he first met Bey when she was just starting out with Destiny’s Child, and when they started making a new record, “the idea of working with Beyoncé was one of the first things I thought about.”

Ronald’s wife Kandy credits Bey’s mom Tina Knowles-Lawson for helping the collab come together,” noting she “was very influential in getting this record started and getting it to the point where we are now.” She adds, “She has a love for the Isley Brothers and her daughter grew up listening to this type of music.”

The tune is a remake of The Isley Brothers’ “Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2),” which was on their 1975 number one album “The Heat Is On.”
