The Killers and Bruce Springsteen have teamed up on a new song, a remake of The Killers’ hit “A Dustland Fairytale.”
The band and The Boss gave “Dustland” its live debut on the “Today” show yesterday. They also talked about how the collab came to be. Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has long cited Bruce as one of his biggest influences, and he had the honor of performing with Bruce on stage at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands 12 years back.
Years later, he got a text from The Boss himself saying they should collab. And now they have.
