The Rolling Stones Celebrating 40th Anniversary Of “Tattoo You” With Deluxe Reissue

The Rolling Stones are celebrating the 40th anniversary of “Tattoo You,” with an expanded deluxe reissue, dropping October 22nd.

The deluxe release will include “Lost & Found Rarities” featuring nine previously unreleased tracks, including “Living In the Heart Of Love,” which they just released, as well a reggae-tinged version of "Start Me Up” and a cover of Dobie Grey’s “Drift Away.”

There will also be a Super Deluxe version which will feature a live album, “Still Life: Wembley Stadium 1982," and various vinyl sets, including a 5LP Super Deluxe Box Set in 180g Heavyweight Vinyl. Fans can pre-order the release here.

  • The original “Tattoo You” was released August 24th, 1981 and featured such classics as “Start Me Up,” and “Waiting On A Friend.”
