U2 Celebrating 30th Anniversary Of “Achtung Baby”

U2 is celebrating the 30^th anniversary of their classic album “Achtung Baby” with a new digital box set and more.

First, the album, which featured such hits as “The Fly,” “Mysterious Ways” and “One,” will come out Friday on special Standard black and Deluxe colored vinyl. Then a 50-track digital boxset, featuring Uber Remixes, Unter Remixes, and B-Sides with 22 tracks never-before available digitally, will be released on December 3^rd. 

But that’s not all. In celebration of the occasion, U2 has teamed with Berlin-based, French artist Thierry Noir for a one-off installation at the legendary Hansa Studios in Kreuzberg, Germany. Theirry is the artist who painted a series of Trabant cars for “Achtung Baby’s” original artwork, and the new instillation will feature a newly painted Trabant. Check out images below:
