Van Morrison Announces New Double Album

Van Morrison is getting ready to release a new, double album. The singer is set to drop “Latest Record Project: Volume 1” on May 7th, featuring 28 songs inspired by his love of blues, R&B, jazz and soul. He’s giving fans their first taste of it with the release of the title track.
“I’m getting away from the perceived same songs, same albums all the time,” Van shares. “This guy’s done 500 songs, maybe more, so hello? Why do you keep promoting the same ten? I’m trying to get out of the box.”
The album is Van’s 42nd studio release, and will be available on double-CD, deluxe-CD, triple-vinyl and digital format.
