The Oscar nominations are out and Van Morrison is in the running this year. The singer's "Belfast" track "Down To Joy" has been recognized in the Best Original Song category.
And this year he'll have some stiff competition. Other nominees in the category include Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas for their James Bond theme “No Time To Die,” Beyonce for her “King Richard” tune “Be Alive," the Lin-Manuel Miranda written track “Dos Oruguitas” from “Encanto,” and the Diane Warren-penned track "Somehow You Do" from “Four Good Days.”
The 94th Annual Academy Awards air March 27th on ABC.
