Weird Al Yankovic is looking back on his career with a new book set to drop this fall. “Black & White & Weird All Over,” dropping October 27th, will feature previously unreleased black-and-white photos taken by his drummer for the last 40 years, Jon “Bermuda” Schwartz.
"The last several decades have been an amazing ride," Weird Al shares. "More than once — an annoying number of times, actually — Jon has warned me, 'Someday I'm going to write a book about all this!' It became a bit of a running joke. But now he's actually made good on the threat. It's a fine snapshot — actually, several hundred snapshots — of what life was like for us in the '80s."
The hardcover book will consist of 208 pages of photos of Al on tour, in the studio and more. In addition to the hardcover book, there will also be a limited-edition box set signed by Schwartz, featuring 12 frameable prints. Only 250 of those will be made, and they go on sale tomorrow at 1pm ET here.
