R.E.M. fans shouldn’t hold their breath for a reunion. Appearing on WNYC’s “All Of It with Alison Stewart" Michael Stipe says it’s not happening.

Elton John is extending his record for the most top 10 songs on “Billboard’s” Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart. His song with Dua Lipa, “Cold Heart (Pnau Remix),” has risen from the 11th to 10th spot on the list dated September 25th.

ZZ Top says there’s some bootleg merchandise going around online. The band has warned fans about counterfeiters trying to “cash in” on the death of co-founding bassist Dusty Hill.

Genesis is hitting the road for the first time in 14 years, and apparently also the last time ever. Phil Collins says that “The Last Domino? Tour” will be fans’ last chance to see them live.

Sarah Dash has died. The 76-year-old singer best known for being one-third of LaBelle passed away suddenly yesterday. At this point, no cause of death was given.

Brian Wilson is showing fans a different side of the Beach Boys. He’s announced a solo piano album of stripped-back Beach Boys classics, “At My Piano.”

Rod Stewart fans are getting a new album this year. The singer is set to release “The Tears of Hercules” on November 12^th. The album is Rod’s 31^st record and he certainly sounds proud of it.

“Rolling Stone” magazine has come out with their list of the 500 Best Songs of All Time, picking Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” as the number one choice.

Dion is getting ready to release a new album. The singer will drop “Stomping Ground” on November 5^th digitally, on CD and as a two-LP set.

If you’ve been waiting for new music from Janet Jackson, you won’t have to wait too much longer. She recently announced that she’d be dropping a new single later this year and a new album next year.

The Doors have a full-length concert film on the way. “The Doors: Live at the Bowl ‘68 Special Edition” will hit theaters on November 4th.

The legacy of Gregg Allman will be celebrated on tour. The fifth annual “Allman Family Revival” will launch in November, and hit 18 cities.

While Bruce Springsteen fans anxiously await announcement of another tour, some of his career memorabilia is going on the road instead. 

As we previously told you, Todd Rundgren was voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, but fans should not expect to see him at this year’s induction ceremony.  Todd is not a fan of the Hall of Fame, and has previously called it a “scam,” so he has declined to attend the event next month. 

As we told you, ABBA released two new songs “I Still Have Faith In You” and “Don’t Shut Me Down,” from their upcoming album “The Voyage,” which drops November 5^th. Well, those songs have brought them back to the British charts.
