WalletHub’s annual list of the hardest working states in the U.S. has just been released.
To figure out where Americans work hardest, they compared the states in 10 areas, including the share of workers with multiple jobs, average workweek hours and annual volunteer hours per resident.
In 2023, North Dakota is the hardest working state, while New Mexico comes in 50th, making it the least hard-working state.
