As is customary, the death of an artist has brought renewed interest in their music. This time it’s Olivia Newton-John, who passed away last week.

While Mariah Carey has been unofficially called the Queen of Christmas, there are a few artists out there who are taking issue with her wanting the title officially. Mariah has been trying to trademark the title “Queen of Christmas” but now she’s facing a possible legal battle over it thanks to singers Darlene Love and Elizabeth Chan.

Back in 2017, a group of musicians took David Bowie’s music on tour for a tribute concert, and now the follow-up to that tour is on the way. The 2022 “Celebrating David Bowie” tour kicks off in October for 30 shows with an all-star lineup.

Blondie, Tori Amos, and Tragically Hip are just a few of the artists taking part in a new global fundraising initiative. 

Madonna’s eldest son Rocco just turned 22 and the singer shared photos from his recent birthday bash. 

Late September will see Jeff Beck hitting venues across North America with ZZ Top performing with him at the first six shows. The tour starts September 23^rd in Del Valle, Texas, and runs through November 12^th with a performance in the Grand Theatre at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

Today is a big day for INXS. It was 45 years ago today that the Aussie band The Farriss Brothers, who would go on to be renamed INXS, played their debut gig at a house party in Wale Beach, Sydney and now they are celebrating the milestone.

A lawsuit over whether Michael Jackson actually sang on some of his posthumously released songs is finally over. The singer’s Estate and Sony Music have reached a settlement in the lawsuit, which was filed in 2014 by a woman named Vera Serova.

Blondie is sharing new music with fans. Well, actually, it’s new old music. The band just released a newly rediscovered home recording of the song “Mr. Sightseer.” The track will appear on the band’s upcoming box set “Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982” and was recorded in 1978.

Beyonce is giving fans even more new music. On the heels of her new album “Renaissance,” which went to number one, she’s ready to drop a new legendary collaboration. 

As we told you, Olivia Newton-John passed away at age 73 Monday, and Mariah Carey is one of the many artists who took to social media to pay tribute to the singer.  Mariah shared pictures of  with Olivia, and recalled getting to sing with her at a show in Melbourne, Australia.
